Let’s rock this house!
May 20, 7–9pm | $35
The Party! is convention’s biggest bash. And this year, Philly’s own Bacon Brothers are going to rock the convention center with a one-night-only special performance featuring their trademark sound of Philly “forosoco”—a blend of folk, rock, country, and soul.
We’re transforming the convention center’s Grand Ballroom into an exclusive musical venue for the evening. Join thousands of architects and design professionals for an unforgettable night of music, friends, and some of Philly’s best food and drink. It’s your chance to hear the Brothers—actor Kevin Bacon and and Emmy award-winning composer Michael Bacon—before they kick off their summer tour this June.
The Bacon Brothers
The Bacon Brothers are anything but your typical rock band. For the last two decades, Philly’s famous duo has been impressing audiences and critics with their gritty rock and soulful sound, including their latest album, 36 Cents.
Best known for his acting roles in “Footloose,” “Mystic River” and “Apollo 13,” Kevin has appeared in 80 films. He has a Golden Globe win and several Emmy and Screen Actor’s Guild nominations.
Michael is an Emmy Award-winning composer credited with numerous original scores for film and television, most recently scoring the documentary “Good Fortune—The Story of Morgenthau.”
The band includes Michael Bacon (vocals, guitar, cello), Kevin Bacon (vocals, guitar, percussion), Paul Guzzone (bass guitar, backing vocals), Joe Mennonna (keyboards, accordion), Ira Siegel (lead guitar, mandolin, backing vocals), and Frank Vilardi (drums).
