It’s all here

In-depth workshops, dynamic CE-theater presentations, exciting keynote sessions, fast, on-point chats on the expo floor, and custom tours and experiences. Follow a focus area or mix and match from nearly 200 seminars and workshops and 50+ tours to create your own experience.

Preconvention workshops

Join us a day early for a small-group education experience that lets you earn up to 7.5 LUs. Deep dives into risk management and disaster planning, LEEDV.4 materials credits, a mini MBA for Emerging Professionals, and ADA and FHA—these are just a few of the reasons to get to Atlanta early. Graduate students and faculty should check out course WE400 and other special opportunities for people in academia also beginning Wednesday.

Education tracks and areas of focus

Three big-picture tracks and six focus areas make it easy to follow your interests as you plan your schedule. Focus areas highlight sessions on trending topics in materials, resilience, and more.

Educational tours

Turn Atlanta into your classroom when you tour iconic locations like the historic Fox Theatre, the Sweet Auburn neighborhood, and the under-construction Atlanta Stadium, brought to you by host chapter AIA Atlanta. Register early because these unique experiences typically sell out quickly.

Expo education

Take advantage of continuing education on the expo floor including sessions hosted in the CE Theaters and Learning Lounges. Select these sessions during registration to guarantee your seat.

Plus, Expo Chat is back! Stop by an exhibitor’s booth during expo hours to discuss the latest product info, research, materials, or technology. Complete a learning statement after convention to earn your LUs and HSWs.

70+ Events

Gatherings range from our largest event, The Party!, to happy hours on the Expo floor, dinners, receptions, the Chancellor’s Cup Open double-header, and Design + Dining events including a moveable feast along Atlanta’s Belt Line. We’ve also curated an exciting selection of non-credit “fun tours” for your guests (and you, too), including Atlanta Film Sites and a Civil Rights tour.
